The Maiden
If you are just starting out on a new venture, or bringing something new into your life, you really couldn't hope for a more auspicious card than this one.
The Maiden is all about new beginnings and growth. Spontaneity, joy, exhilaration and promise for the future are all signified here. Enjoy! You are on the right track and you'll more than likely find things just magically falling into place and moving along quite speedily (funnily enough, this echos yesterday's card, Nelys the Alchemyst, who also talks of rapid change).
The Maiden is a little girl, as you can see, and to maintain this impetus, it's important to be like her; take joy in everything you do, see the magic and the light in everything, be open to learning and to new experiences...in short, allow your life to turn into an amazing adventure, filled with playfulness and hope.
The only thing that you may have to bear in mind is that this new beginning you are embarking on - whatever it is - is still in its very early stages, and therefore, there is an element of vulnerability about it. It needs to be cherished and supported to allow it to grow into its full potentiality.
Delight in the magic, trust the process....but take care of the practical details as well!
