The Glanconer
This is the card of trying to avoid seeing things through "rose-coloured glasses". When you really, really want something or somebody, the tendency is to lose clarity and not see beneath the beglamoured surface.
Take your time with any important decisions or commitments. Refuse to be rushed into anything until you have read the small print or taken advice from an expert or someone you trust. Watch out for smooth talkers trying to cajole you by appealing to your vanity or flattering you.
It's important to take a step back and look from a distance to ensure that the object or person you have your sights set on is, in fact, what they appear to be.
