Spirit Dancer

If you are working on a creative project, Spirit Dancer is encouraging you to share this with others. This can be quite a scary thing to do...when you are working on something that is important to you and then you share it with others, you are really putting yourself on the line and letting them see your true self. There is always the fear that they won't "get it" or worse still, that they will criticize or ridicule you. Spirit Dancer acknowledges these risks, but assures you that sharing your creativity now will be a good thing; if you reach out from this illusion of separateness, you are reaffirming your essential connections with other people and this is very important for clarifying your vision and releasing even more of the creative potential within you.

So, be brave, take a deep breath and let them see what you're really about!

Penelope Dreamweaver

Penelope is the Inspiration Faery. If you are involved in any kind of creative enterprise, she would like to speak to you.

Sometimes, we can take our creative ideas a little bit too seriously, and expect ourselves to be absolutely perfect - we must write the perfect poem or story, paint the perfect picture, make the perfect culinary masterpiece, create the perfect garden, make the perfect tune, sculpt the perfect piece, design the perfect dress etc etc. The problem with this is that when we inevitably fail to achieve these high expectations, our creative energy can very easily sour within us.

If this is your tendency at play (and I'll be the first to raise my hand!), then Penelope is encouraging you to lighten up a bit. It is important to have fun with your creativity, whatever form it takes. Pay attention to your dreams, pay attention to your day-dreams and actively seek visions and inspirations. Stop trying so hard and focus more on doing the things that renew and inspire you. Cut loose from the mundane world for a while and give yourself time to enjoy your own fantasies and dreams.

Understand that there is always guidance and inspiration available to you when you are engaged in the creative process. View this as your muse or inner genie and if you can step back for a moment and allow that inspiration to break through from your subconscious to your conscious mind, you will be amazed at the results.

The Piper

The Piper is all about developing order, harmony and beauty in life. Seek harmony and tranquility in yourself and in the world around you.

In order to get what you want and to move forward in the direction you want, the Piper recommends that you try polite requests and gentle persuasion - and then wait, quietly welcoming, for it to come to you.

This is a time of harmony, creativity (especially music) and increasing order. This is a time to pay attention to the subtlety of others' expressions, feelings and ideas. Look past the surface and use tenderness and gentleness in all your dealings with others...and with yourself!

Luathas the Wild

Luathas the Wild is all about spontaneity, creative energies and re-charging your batteries.

You may be finding that old ideas and behaviours are not working for you any more, and now is a good time to think and act creatively, to try new things and to really go for it. Don't miss out on something that could well turn out to be wonderful and miraculous in your life just out of fear of making a "fool" of yourself!

The only thing with Luathas, in spite of his amazing wild energy, is that he can sometimes be a bit of a naughty boy. You have to keep your eye on him! He has no concept of balance and will always encourage you to go faster, do more and if you're not careful, you can end up burned out, blocked and exhausted. Take advantage of his energy, channel it towards positive things, but stay grounded and use your common sense.

The fire of creation and destruction are inextricably linked, like the Phoenix who lays her egg then bursts into flames to incubate it. Use this energy for creative purposes, not to self-destruct!!
