Faery Message for Saturday 28th May 2011

G Hobyah

Freaky-looking dude this one, don't you think?!

G Hobyah's job is to wave our imaginary fears in front of us and to make them look as real and alive as possible. He's an absolute expert at this, but he doesn't do it just to be mean. He is trying to get us to distinguish our imaginary fears from things we actually need to be cautious about.

If you are feeling over-anxious about something, it is a good idea to take a step back, breathe deeply and really look at the situation from a more detached point of view. Are you getting things out of proportion by allowing your mind to work over-time and projecting old traumas and fears into your imaginary future? Do check things out carefully, of course, but make sure you are not holding yourself back from something new and exciting just by letting your old patterns and beliefs take over.

This is quite a challenging card, but give yourself some time and space, ask for help and guidance, and you'll soon figure out whether your fears are genuine and well-founded, or whether you are tying yourself in knots through your own imagination.

Faery Message for Friday 6th May 2011

Indi

Oh, come on now...would you please just make up your mind?! Poor little Indi - he really does sum up the old saying "I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure". :)

There are lots of reasons why we hesitate when it comes to making decisions...some of them are valid, practical concerns which quite rightly need to be looked at carefully before you commit yourself; some of them are genuine intuitive cautions, but a lot of them are simply down to our own insecurities and unnecessary fear.

If you have an important decision to make and find yourself dithering, one minute thinking 'yes', and the next thinking 'no' Indi suggests that the best thing to do is to give yourself a set time to complete your decision - ask for guidance for your highest good, ask for signs, meditate, make lists - but affirm that you will be guided to the right decision by such-and-such date at such-and-such a time. This balance of practicality and trust in the universe will ensure that the answer will magically fall into place at the appointed time.

The key then is to trust that answer and carry it through.

Faery Message for Friday 4th March 2011

Ilbe the Retriever

This is the card of lost hopes and dreams. Ilbe is telling you that even if you have given up on something, perhaps due to lack of confidence or self-worth (or any of the other multitude of reasons we are all so good at finding to prevent ourselves from moving forward and going for our dreams), he has faith in you. He knows you can do it and wants to encourage you to reconsider. There is a way for you to create the future you truly want; it might not be obvious, and you might have to be alert and awake to all possibilities and opportunities - meditating would be a good idea right now - but rest assured, Ilbe will show you the path if you allow him to.
This is a wonderful card to draw...especially on a Friday! You have the potential to bring something new and exciting into your life - a long-awaited dream is at last arriving on the scene. Go for it!
